Batik Saavri Suit Set

The batik work works with silver or gold and has the uneven handmade character I look for, which is what drew me in. Wore it on a six-hour train journey and my usual outfit panic just did not happen. It looks like it cost three times what it did.

Beautiful soft cotton, no scratchiness anywhere and it feels so comfy. Every piece is hand done so the print has its own little character, love that.

Bought this for a Karwa Chauth dinner and I have stopped looking elsewhere. The cotton feels like something from a pricier label and has a lovely slubby texture — no notes. The proportion is neither boxy nor bodycon and is generous through the hip, which almost never happens for me.

The fabric shows no pilling whatsoever and sits away from the body in the heat. The print was clearly done in small batches and has depth no digital print gets. Wore this to a baby shower and I have worn it twice more since.

My first buy from a small Indian label and it was the right call. The sizing is comfortable enough to nap in and looks intentional rather than loose. The block work catches the light lovingly and has not faded a shade. Consider me a convert.

The pattern is the whole reason I picked this and has kept every bit of its depth, which I noticed straight away. The waist held through a long day of sitting and skims rather than clings. Wore it to office and then dinner and it handled a full day on my feet.

Picked this up in the mid-season sale and it is my default for anything semi-formal. The texture has not thinned at the elbows and it shows in how it wears. Wore this to the work party and felt properly dressed without trying too hard. The exchange was painless which is not the norm online.
