Mine has a faint difference in tone between the two pieces. Natural dyeing does that and I have made peace with it. The stitching is neat all the way through.
The weight of it is fully opaque and has that dry, cool handle good cotton should have, which is what I was hoping for. The hand-printing sits beautifully against Indian skin tones and was clearly done in small batches. Wore it to a long lunch with the in-laws and it needed no ironing when I unpacked.
The viscose keeps its shape through a full day and feels closer to handloom than mill cloth. The proportion held through a long day of sitting and lets me sit cross-legged without thinking so I ordered the same in another shade.
Reordered after the first became a favourite and I have told three people since. The fall of the fabric drapes instead of standing stiff and never goes static, better than pieces at twice the price. The jacquard work is exactly the tone shown online and has a softness of colour print cannot fake even under office tubelights. The shoulder line is comfortable enough to nap in and sits clean across the back.
