Came across this looking for something else and it has survived a full season. The viscose is soft on the neck and catches light through the slub. The colour catches the light lovingly and has a softness of colour print cannot fake, which is what drew me in. The proportion lets me sit cross-legged without thinking and allows full movement in the arms on a taller frame.
The fabric and stitching is pretty great
The cotton looks the same front and back and is thick enough to skip a slip to be specific. The pattern has the uneven handmade character I look for and it has grown on me further.
Picked this up in the mid-season sale and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Wore this to a daytime pooja and it went from day to night with just earrings. The parcel arrived in perfect condition — a small thing that matters.
Wore this to a baby shower and felt properly dressed without trying too hard. The fabric arrived already soft and softens further with every wash, which was a pleasant surprise. The shape needed not a single pin and is generous through the hip.
Read every review on the page before ordering and it is my default for anything semi-formal. The dye work looks nothing like mass-printed fabric and reads expensive from across a room, which I noticed straight away. The cut works with flats and a small heel and needed no adjusting at all so I ordered the same in another shade. Wore it for the night and got photographed more than the food.
Bought this for my daughter and borrowed it twice and I am glad I did. The border detail reads as craft rather than product and works with silver or gold. The overall fit falls exactly where stated and runs exactly as listed, which almost never happens for me.
