Bought this instead of renting an outfit and I have since ordered another. The fabric drapes instead of standing stiff and dries fast on the line. The tailoring sits clean across the back and leaves room after a heavy lunch even standing all evening.
Ordered this for a work offsite and the compliments started immediately. The fit falls exactly where stated and is roomy where it should be. The viscose sits smooth without clinging and catches light through the slub — no notes.
Came across this looking for something else and I finally understand the fuss. The block work was clearly done in small batches and was clearly placed by hand — genuinely lovely. The stitching came out better than my usual store size and sits properly at the shoulders. Wore it for card night and did not want to change out of it after.
The texture has not a trace of scratchiness and sits away from the body in the heat, which was a pleasant surprise. The print has kept every bit of its depth and looks different in every light. Wore it to Sunday brunch with family and my usual outfit panic just did not happen.
Ordered a size up on the chart's advice and it solved my whole outfit problem. The finish shows no pilling whatsoever and is finished neatly at every seam, better than pieces at twice the price.
The modal has none of that synthetic squeak and resists creasing far better than expected, something online shopping rarely gets right. The colour is exactly the tone shown online and has not faded a shade even under office tubelights. Wore it to a school function and it beat everything else I had shortlisted.
