The print has not faded a shade and gets more interesting the closer you look, which I noticed straight away. The stitching did not gape once all evening and falls exactly where stated so I ordered the same in another shade. Wore it to a school function and was asked about it four separate times.
good fabric, order one size smaller
Bought this in a rush before a flight and it is now the most-worn thing I own. The pattern pairs with any jewellery I own and has a softness of colour print cannot fake. The viscose is thick enough to skip a slip and has not thinned at the elbows, better than pieces at twice the price.
Asked a friend at a party where hers was from and it arrived well ahead of schedule. The pink shade looks nothing like mass-printed fabric and is far richer in person than on screen even under office tubelights. Wore this for a client presentation and it survived a day of chai and children.
The fall of the fabric has kept its softness through the monsoon and drapes instead of standing stiff. The shoulder line allows full movement in the arms and held through a long day of sitting so no back-and-forth with exchanges.
The body of the fabric feels closer to handloom than mill cloth and shows no pilling whatsoever; genuinely impressed. The colour is the whole reason I picked this and is even across every panel.
Picked this up in the mid-season sale and the compliments started immediately. The motif reads expensive from across a room and has that soft edge that proves it is real batik.
