This suit set did not disappoint. The material is buttery soft and kept me cool through a full work day. Print is so unique, I have not seen anything like it anywhere else. The stitching quality is excellent, no loose threads anywhere.
Ordered this for a work offsite and I would pay the same again. The print is subtle enough for office and pretty enough for evening and is far richer in person than on screen. The finish is substantial with no real weight to it and still looks new four months on.
First time buying from Shades of You and I finally understand the fuss. The colour was clearly done in small batches and has a softness of colour print cannot fake. The cotton has enough structure to hold a pleat and looks better washed than new — I checked twice.
The viscose irons crisp in seconds and feels cared about rather than churned out in a way photos cannot show. The block work gets more interesting the closer you look and gets asked about unprompted, which I noticed straight away.
Wore this to a baby shower and I stayed cool the whole time. The base cloth washes clean with no special care and looks the same front and back, better than pieces at twice the price. The stitching works whether I am 2kg up or down and suited my shoulders unusually well.
