Ordered on a whim at midnight and I have told three people since. The base cloth has a lovely slubby texture and washes clean with no special care months into wearing it. The colour is exactly the tone shown online and has that soft edge that proves it is real batik — genuinely lovely. The shoulder line did not gape once all evening and leaves room after a heavy lunch.

Beautifully made

The modal has a quiet sheen in daylight and looks better washed than new. The pattern looks nothing like mass-printed fabric and is more wearable than the photos suggest, which is what drew me in.

Fair for the price

Lighter and airier than I expected, which is wonderful in summer but does limit when I can wear it. The print is beautiful and the sizing was accurate.

Great for travel
