Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

At Shades of You, we want every piece you receive to feel right. If it doesn’t, here’s how we make the process simple and transparent.

Returns

  • Returns are accepted on most products

  • Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery

  • Products must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned with original tags and packaging

  • Once approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup

  • A reverse logistics fee may be deducted from the refund (₹100–₹150 depending on location)

To initiate a return:
Email us at shadesofyouteam@gmail.com with your order ID and reason for return

Refunds

  • Refunds are processed after quality inspection of the returned product

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refund processing time is 7–10 working days after the product reaches us

  • Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable

Exchanges

  • Size exchanges are available on eligible products

  • Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability

  • If the requested size is unavailable, a store credit will be issued

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share clear images or videos highlighting the issue

Once verified, we will offer a replacement or full refund, at no additional cost.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

  • Products purchased during sale, discount, or promotional offers

  • Custom-made or altered products

  • Items showing signs of use, washing, or damage

  • Orders where the return request is raised after 7 days of delivery

Store Credit

  • Store credits (if issued) are valid for 6 months

  • Can be used across the website

  • Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash

Important Notes

  • Minor variations in colour, print placement, or weave are part of the beauty of handcrafted fabrics and are not considered defects

  • Product colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting
